BRVGS Admissions window for current 8th graders is now open. This is for students interested in joining BRVGS as a 9th grader during the 2025-2026 school year. There will be two online meetings for parents or students that are interested in learning more about BRVGS and the admissions process.
BRVGS Director Wanda Elliott will be holding these informational online meetings and will share a short presentation on BRVGS instructional plans for the upcoming year and program resources for parents and children.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit is seeking submissions for its 2023 essay contest.
High school students are invited to consider and share their thoughts on the question: "In light of Meyer and later cases, may a state, consistent with the protections afforded by the First and Fourteenth Amendments, prohibit the teaching of certain subjects?"
