With many of our BRVGS students picturing themselves as health care professionals in the future, and many other interested in knowing about health care careers, BRVGS is pleased to announce the addition of an online, 3-credit course from the University of Virginia called "Explorations in Health Care," which will be available for BRVGS juniors and seniors in the Fall of 2017.
This course will introduce students to many aspects of careers and practices in health care, including medicine, nursing, and physical therapy, and "...explores the educational requirements and job responsibilities of a wide range of healthcare providers." This new course is one of over a dozen online Advanced Placement and Dual Enrollment offerings from BRVGS for 2017-18. These courses are available to all BRVGS juniors and seniors, and BRVGS pays for full tuition and fees for all online courses.
