While most BRVGS schools are on Spring Break this week, students and staff are gearing up for end-of-year activities. Seniors at Fluvanna and Madison County High Schools have already formally presented the results of their internship, research and community service projects, and seniors from the five other BRVGS districts will do the same over the next few weeks. In addition, all BRVGS Seniors will come together to display their learning and accomplishments at the BRVGS Senior Expo at the Orange County School Board office building on May 11th.
Computer Math students from five member schools will present and market their team-based programming projects in May. Biotechnology students will present the results of their Arabidopsis experiments to scientists from Virginia Tech on April 18th, and World History students will debate the ethics of technology on April 25th and 26th.
