BRVGS is hosting its first "virtual" Spirit Week in program history from November 8th through November 12th, and we want all of you to participate! The Spirit Week week themes for each day are:
Monday: Fun Sock Day
Tuesday: College Gear Day
Wednesday: Black-Out Day
Thursday: Flannel Day
Friday: Color Wars Day
Fluvanna: Greene
Goochand: Blue
Greene: Red:
Louisa: Orange
Madison: Yellow
Nelson: Brown
Orange: Purple
Here's how it works:
The competition is between schools. The winning school will receive a party with a treat of their choice (Ice Cream or Doughnuts).
Each day that you dress up, take a photo of yourself and submit the photo to Izzy Ward via Instagram (@brvgs.slc). Be sure to include your full name and which school you are from.
Schools will earn a point for each photo from a different BRVGS student at their school. The BRVGS population of each school will be factored in (so students with fewer BRVGS students will have the same chance as schools with more BRVGS students).
Schools will earn a bonus point for each person dressed for the day if someone submits a pic of students in your specific class who dressed up (so a school would get a point for each student who submits an individual pic AND and also get a point for that person if they are in a class pic).
The winner will be announced Monday, November 17.
