Blue Ridge Governor’s School students are not only busy with BRVGS academics, but making headlines in their schools and communities as well.

Students participated in the 12th annual Charlottesville Business Innovation Council Tech Tour to learn about local technology opportunities.

BRVGS students were recognized by the National Merit Scholarship Program. Fluvanna County High School Senior Jonathan Corbin was named a 2016 National Merit Scholarship Semi-Finalist, and FCHS students Keegan Campanelli and Kayla Corredera-Wells were named Commended Students. Zachary Wright, a senior at William Monroe High School, was also recognized as a National Merit Scholarship-Commended student. The links below provide more details on these stories.

In addition to those noted above, Rebecca Alpern and Hannah Ward of Louisa were recognized as National Merit Scholars.
