Director’s Input Survey
As noted in our previous email to parents, Mr. Carraway will be retiring in July 2022. The BRVGS Board will begin the process of recruiting and hiring a new Director for BRVGS in early 2022. As part of that process, BRVGS is asking parents, students and staff what characteristics and experiences they would most like to see in a new Director. RVA Museum Trip on January 8th
Parents of students who plan to participate in the January 8th BRVGS trip to Richmond museums should be on the lookout for an email with an itinerary for that trip and a brief survey for emergency contacts and where students will be picked up. Parents will need to respond to that survey no later than Wednesday, Jan. 5th.
9th Grade World History
BRVGS 9th graders completed their “Virtual Museum” projects on December 10th. You can see a link to their work on the BRVGS Fall 2021 Online Expo document.
10th Grade AP Biology

11th and 12th Grade Online BRVGS Classes
Students in Fall Online classes recently completed projects in many of their courses. You can see links to those projects by clicking on the BRVGS Fall 2021 Online Expo document.
BRVGS online courses for 2nd semester will begin on Wednesday, January 5th, 2022. Parents and students will be contacted with important beginning-of-course information on Monday, January 3rd.

12th Grade Capstone Project
BRVGS seniors in Fluvanna, Louisa, Madison, Nelson and Orange counties have wrapped up the bulk of their Senior Capstone projects for the year, and will present their projects at local presentations and at the BRVGS Senior Expo, which will be held at the Best Western Zion Crossroads from 10:00 - 1:00 on Thursday and Friday, April 21st and 22nd. The dates for local presentations will be sent out in January.
