BRVGS is proud to note that Shannon Johnston, BRVGS World History teacher at Madison County High School, was chosen as the "Teacher of the Year," specifically for her instructional accomplishments, at MCHS for 2016-17. Mrs. Johnston has been teaching for BRVGS and MCHS for the past three years, with experience in a range of prior teaching and educational roles before coming to Madison. She incorporates a wide variety of innovative and technology-based teaching strategies in her BRVGS class, bringing the past to life with her engaging instruction.
