Here are some very important dates and information regarding BRVGS Online Students (11th and 12th graders taking Fall or Yearlong courses) signed up to take an online class through BRVGS this semester.
PRE-COURSE ASSIGNMENT:
Regardless of your local school’s start date, all BRVGS online courses will begin with “pre-course” assignments on Tuesday, August 9th. Students will be emailed with instructions to join a Google Classroom to access and submit these pre-course assignments. Students taking UVA courses through BRVGS already have access to the Google Classroom they need.
With that in mind, BRVGS online students should check their BRVGS email and their online course site every day going forward in the semester.
PLEASE NOTE: Students who do not complete and submit pre-course assignments to the satisfaction of BRVGS by Thursday, August 18th, may be removed from their BRVGS online course.
CONTENT INSTRUCTION:
Content instruction for all online courses will begin on Monday, August 22nd. Students in all online classes must participate by submitting assignments and by communicating with their course instructor from the beginning of the course.
PLEASE NOTE: Students who have not satisfactorily submitted assignments or who have not communicated with their course instructors in the first week of content instruction will be removed from their BRVGS online course.
WITHDRAWAL DATE:
September 6, 2022 - is the last day to WITHDRAW from a class without an academic penalty. You will receive a grade of W/F (Withdrawn/Failing) after this date.
