Dear BRVGS World History Students,
I hope that you are all doing well. Please read this message carefully, as it contains important information and links to work that you will need to do towards successful completion of your BRVGS World History course.
Your next packet of assignments is ready to start working on. You have a work packet on "Post-World War II and the Cold War," and a book assignment. You have 2 weeks to do the packet part, and the rest of the school year to do the book assignment. Please note that if you are having trouble meeting deadlines for any reason, you should contact your teacher and me to let me know - we can be flexible on those if needed!
You can see the assignments, with links to the packet and book assignment and suggestions for pacing your work, by clicking on BRVGS World History Assignments and Pacing Guide 4.24.20. Please remember that you must be signed into your BRVGS email account to be able to access and copy many of the docs.
The assignment doc also contains a link to an online copy of the book (One Day In the Life of Ivan Denisovich) that we will be reading. If you truly need a paper copy of the book OR the packet, please email me and Ms. Bunovich (her email is kbunovich@brvgs.k12.va.us) or call Ms. Bunovich at 804-787-0886 to request that.
I want to conclude this email by saying how impressed I have been by how many of you have contacted me and your teachers with questions about your assignments - communicating "early and often" is a great skill to develop for college and the world beyond high school, so great job on that!
Please let me know of any questions for now, and thanks to you for all of your work on your prior assignments and completing your projects. I look forward to seeing your final project products! Have a good weekend, and take care, everyone!
All the best, Mr. Carraway
