Message from Mr. Carraway to Students about Courses and Projects
Dear BRVGS Students,
I hope that all of you are doing as well as possible in the face of all of the current uncertainty. I wanted to touch base because I know that a lot of you are concerned about your upcoming projects and presentations in your BRVGS classes, how you will get work done, and of course, about grades.
Message to BRVGS Community about School Closure
BRVGS 9th grade trip to Washington DC cancelled for Thursday, March 12
Given that multiple school systems and parents have opted their students out of our March 19th Spring Field Trip to Washington D.C, out of rising concern about the coronavirus, we are canceling next week's field trip to Washington.
We hope to be able to offer a make-up enrichment trip to interested students in early June, but that will, of course, depend on the progression of the coronavirus situation. Any decisions regarding that and other upcoming BRVGS field trips will be made in accordance with local travel restrictions and public health recommendations.
Thank you for your understanding, and please feel free to contact BRVGS Director Marc Carraway at mcarraway@brvgs.k12.va.us or by phone at 434-989-3972 with any questions.
