BRVGS Freshmen Orientation Summer 2012
Parents of incoming BRVGS freshmen students for the 2012-13 school should receive a letter this week or next with details regarding the June 19th BRVGS Freshman Orientation. The letters were inadvertently sent out without transportation schedules and parent permission forms. We will be sending out an additional letter with that information, and apologize for any confusion or inconvenience in regard to this. Please contact BRVGS Director Marc Carraway at mcarraway@brvgs.k12.va.us, or by phone at 434-989-3972, for any questions regarding the Orientation. We are looking forward to meeting our incoming freshmen for the 2012 school year!

Seniors at Fluvanna and Madison County High Schools have already formally presented the results of their internship, research and community service projects, and seniors from the five other BRVGS districts will do the same over the next few weeks. In addition, all BRVGS Seniors will come together to display their learning and accomplishments at the BRVGS Senior Expo at the Orange County School Board office building on May 11th.
Computer Math students from five member schools will present and market their team-based programming projects in May. Biotechnology students will present the results of their Arabidopsis experiments to scientists from Virginia Tech on April 18th, and World History students will debate the ethics of technology on April 25th and 26th.
